It has been a while – been busy with a few things.

However, today is winter solstice, therefore from tomorrow… SUMMER IS COMING!!!

To enjoy the shortest day I got up early and head to the mountains to try to race the sun to the top of the mountain, I failed in my mission to beat the sun, however it was a gorgeous ride all the same!

Was lovely and sunny and reached the dizzying heights of 17 degrees – not bad for the middle of winter! However it was a little bit windy, obviously, it’s Wellington!

James is off for a night ride this evening, followed by dinner out with friends – Shock horror, we are actually going out (sort of) without our bikes!
