We’re back!

It’s been a hot minute but we are back on the road, so we thought it’d be a good time to update you on the adventures that have been keeping us busy whilst we’ve been so quiet.

Well, there was lots of work, and unsurprisingly, lots of work and no play makes for a very unhappy life.

So to fix this, I left my job and decided adventures around the world to ride bikes in cool places, with even cooler people was much more fun. Spoiler alert, it was!

We spent over 3 weeks cruising around Colorado, with the best tour guide

This guy knew his stuff
Found some snow, easy to do at 12000ft elevation!
Where’s (the) wally
Animal whisperer strikes again at Saint Elmo
Riding in Gunnison
Riding at Ridgeway
Atop Pikes Peak, a 14,000ft mountain
Springer Gulch
Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs
Bestest boi with his toys from his Aunty

And just like that, our trip to Colorado was over.

Then jumped on a plane, and visited British Columbia.

The worlds biggest rental car

Had a delightful trip over to Vancouver Island

The ferry over to Vancouver Island
Glorious Butchart Garden

We spent a day at the Butchart Gardens which was absolutely beautiful. We stumbled across some sequoia trees (already James’ favourite trees) but these were over 100 years old.

Then back over to the mainland to plot where we want to move once we’re bored with living in Aotearoa

Adventure man in action
Would it even be Canada without poutine
Walked to some awesome lakes at the top of the mountains in Whistler
Looooooots of trees whilst out riding
Some friends showing us around the trails in Squamish

After a little reminder that life is to be lived, it was time to head back home, and live life again!
